Branding a world symphony
The “Orchester der Kulturen” is the worlds only orchestra that combines classical symphonic music and captivating rhythms with ethnic instruments and singers from all over the world to create a new musical experience.
The guiding principle of musically uniting cultures from around the world results in a completely new, unprecedented listening experience through the combination of diverse instruments and timbres.

My Role


CHALLENGE
The goal of this project is to develop a strong and distinctive visual language for the orchestra, setting it apart from traditional classical orchestras. The new design should embody the orchestra’s guiding principle of uniting cultures while ensuring a bold, eye-catching, and entertaining presence.


SOLUTION
The new branding seamlessly fuses the orchestra’s two defining elements diversity and entertainment. At its core, the identity celebrates sociocultural participation, reflected in a generative logo featuring ever-changing letters from languages around the world. This dynamic visual is paired with bold, unconventional colors, culturally inspired shapes, and vivid photography, all of which capture the excitement and vibrancy of the orchestra’s live performances.
